Every water cooler has story. What's
yours?
Here are a few helpful tips on water
cooler etiquette that you may or may not
have learned in school.
- Avoid Germs. Don’t
place your cup or water bottle on
the nozzle. If people wanted your
germs, they would kiss you.
- Don't wash your clothes in
public. Don't tell private
things to people that you may not
everyone to know.
- Dry up your drip. If you
spill it, wipe it up. Serious
accidents may occur from a slippery
floor.
- Still waters run deep. The
quiet people can be the smartest and
wisest. Take notes.
- Water Hogs. If you are the
drinking the last drop, make sure to
let the appropriate person know that
the pot needs to be refilled.
- Caution: Hot. You may get
burned. Conversations may be
misconstrued over an innocent cup of
tea, hot chocolate, or coffee.
- FYI: Don’t spill on your
boss.
A water cooler can be very tricky to
be around and we hope these helpful
tips will keep you dry.
Good Luck! |
